    Chilli Dog... When have you had one.

    Grilled hotdogs tonight and had leftover chilli. I haven't had a chili dog in a long time. Added onions and it was outstanding

    I love the chili dogs from doggy diner in woodridge IL and the ones from Buona Beef in the chicago area.... that and a 10 inch beef sandwich, the lunch of champions

    At least once a month. Sometimes homemade chilli sometimes Nathan's chilli. The cheeses vary.

    Love me some chili dogs! We fish a tournament every year in October and on the way home bunch of us stop at the Dairy Queen and put a hurtin' on their chili dog supply. They remember us from one year to the next.

    The last time I had one was a number of years ago in Eutawville, SC. We had fished near the Diversion Canal in the morning and hadn't done very well. So, we decided to trailer up to the state park and fish the swamp. On the way through Eutawville, the lead truck comes on the CB and says, "Hey, we need us a chili dog!" We pulled into the Tasty Twirl (now just called The Twirl) and ordered 6 chili dogs. When the lady called up our order another guy and I went up to get it. She tells us, "That will be $10.00 (or whatever the price was). The other guy is a jokster and says to her, "Charge it!" The look on her face was priceless! Darn good chilli dogs though.

    Split two dogs and fry them. Put them on a hamburger bun with chilli and then toast in a sandwich press.

    We have a local place here that’s been serving chili dogs for 101 years in the same location. I try not to eat them but end up there about every 4-5 months to get my fix.

    We get chili dogs and chili cheese fries/tots at Sonic. Dogs are a staple of our southern diet.
