Exclamation F&G Proposals to bass tournaments

Just a heads up, they posted yesterday that they'll be having a meeting to discuss some changes to bass tournament permitting, and the rules for conducting bass tournaments. All links below, but the 3rd one is where most (if not all) of the changes related to bass tournaments are mentioned, starts on page 12.

Seems most of the changes revolve around the application process for getting permits. Not familiar with the process myself, so not sure if any of these changes are a big deal or not.

I think it means no taking the fish to a designated spot and putting them on a scale, paper or MLF style only.

I found that one odd, as it's not underlined, and I thought with their formatting that any underlined text would be a new rule. Also, if that is a new rule, that's kind of a significant one. You'd think a change of that impact would have its own separate announcement or discussion.

If you look back at the document or screenshot, that rule is a sub-item of d which means it should only apply to this --

"Bass tournaments held on Umbagog Lake, Province Lake, Balch Pond, Horn Pond, Great

East Lake, Milton Watershed, Lower Kimball Pond and Spaulding Pond shall be subject to the following:"

It is basicly for water bodies that border NH and ME. I talked to someone else that is more on top of this stuf and that was what he said.
