2018 Sportsman 17 or 18?

Guys, as a previous owner of two Eagles, I'm in the market for another aluminum.

How do you like your 2018 Sportsman 17 or 18 and would you consider another brand if you had to do it over?

I have had my 2018 Sportsman 17 for just at a year. I really like it so far as it is serving the purpose I bought it for. The only drawback is the 2 storage compartments in the back are a little to small as they are made for small storage boxes. It is really move of a inconvenience for the person fishing in the back. If they were about six inches larger they would be perfect. I did a comparison between features and layout with that of a Alumacraft boat that is sold here locally and the G3 was a much better boat for the same money. So far I can say I would not hesitate to my another one again.

I have a 2017 sportsman 17 with a 70 Yamaha, that I bought at the boat show in February. It’s perfect for me. I originally looked at a ranger. But for the price and features I picked the G3 and had it rigged the way I wanted and still came in below the ranger.

My my fishing buddy loves the size of the back deck. I have had lots of compliments from other fisherman.

Over the winter I’m going to add a bike seat for the front and a ladder off the back. Also will be networking the two 93’s so I can share sonar. See below in my signature what have added.

You can get my 2018 Sportsman 17 for a deal. Comes with a 90hp and 6’ power pole. 17 hours on the boat and motor.
