    A few LBJ photos

Here are some pics I received from my family in Kingsland. They are safe, thank the lord. But they will need a lot of time, money and prayer to recover from this historic flood.

This a cabin located next to the boat ramp at Log Country Cove.
They are currently unable to get down there to assess the damage yet, but it's likely that many of the cabins have flood damage.

    Boat house filled with debris

You can barely see a sheet of metal between the 2 blue lines I've drawn. That is the roof of a boat dock buried under sand. There is currently a boat stored in it.

FB video sent to me earlier.

Let's keep these good people in our thoughts and prayers as they begin cleanup.

Very sad what happened to our beautiful Hill Country and its residents, words just can describe the destruction that I've seen. And the worse is not over with rain and heavy rain expected for another week the lakes just can't hold much more water, praying all the dams hold

This area was devastated not that long ago. I feel sorry for all those affected and hope there no lost lives this time.

I watched thousands of dollars of boats, jet skis and docks go over the Marble Falls Starcke dam. The bridge between Sunrise Beach and Kingsland on FM 2900 is destroyed. The damage is unbelievable. The Llano River hit it’s second highest crest in history at 39+ feet. All of the Highland Lakes, Buchanan, Inks, LBJ, Marble Falls, Travis are closed. It may be a month or more before we can fish again. Buchanan and Travis may open record flood gates. AND it’s still raining this morning with more rain predicted for next when a remnant of a Pacific hurricane will dump on the Texas Hill Country. This is definitely a test for these old dams built in the 30’s.

These pics were taken in Granite Shoals.

Notice the bass boat in the upper left corner

Forgive the quality, but this video shows the lake flowing with current. It was recorded from the front porch of the "Big Timber" cabin at Log Country Cove, which is about 15K SF. The first floor flooded with several feet of water.
