Does the screen for your livewell interfere with the si operation? Reason i'm asking is thats where I mounted mine and it looks like its shooting across the outside edge of my livewell screen. Just installed it yesterday and havent tried it yet, may have ti put it on the j-plate.

Looks identical to the transom mounted ducer in the picture above by Jimmyblazer. Except of course mine is SI, but thats where i had to mount it.

Re: Hummingbird Si mounting pictures (kk4iz)

Sent you an email reguarding your Yamaha gauges and transducer location. We just took deliver of our 21foot Xpress and have a couple of questions! Thanks!

Also...we have 250 SHO...we are trimming up and have jack plate 1/2 way up but only turning 4400 rpm (but gauges could be off---not Yamaha ones we want to get Yamaha ones) We have factory four spoke prop from Yamaha. Any suggestions on what we are doing wrong and how to get more rpms? We should be turning 5500 at least? We are not rooster tailing on plane so it appears we are trimmer and have jack plate going in right direction.

    Thanks for any help!
