    25.5 Hrs.

and man my oil was nasty that I drained out today. Couldn't imagine what it would look or perform like at the designated 100hr change. Highly recommend no one wait that long on these new 250 four strokes.

You haven't seen dark until you change a L6 Verado after 100 hours. I've done several 20 he & a couple 100 HR changes on v6/v8's & the oil looked normal.

I was really surprised as I thought I was going a bit overboard on the early oil change. Thought I would see a bit of a brown, gold opaque color left to it but it was black as coal.

9.7 hours and it still looks clean on mine. I wipe the cable with a white rag and it's clean oil.

I just drained out some to lower oil volume at 6.5 hours and the oil was very dark but looks normal on the dipstick. Mine was over the top dot and exhaust smelled like oil burning on some start ups. Lowered oil level and problem solved.

I changed the oil on my 250 Pro XS at about 22 hours and the oil looked normal for a low hour 4s not new but a bit dirty.
