Question - Exposed Cable on my 2018 Ultrex Trolling Motor Head

Dumb question. Is there a risk that the exposed cable coming out from the bottom of the Ultrex head can cause interference on my HDS-12 Gen2 bow sonar?

My 2018 Ultrex (non-link) 24V 80lb 45inch T/M came with an internal 2D sonar transducer that I'm not using. Instead I mounted to the T/M housing, with a big hose clamp, an external Lowrance HDI 83/200 455/800khz skimmer transducer which goes inside a Lowrance cover adapter. On the end of the exposed cable I put a metal valve stem cap to prevent water from getting in the end of the cable. Thanks for your replies.

No, that will not cause any problems with an external transducer. Many guys will take the cover (controller) off and place that wire under the cover.
