Best mid-priced reel for flipping.pitching as far as ease of adjustment.

I know most reel can do a fine job for flipping and pitching 3/8oz on up.What are some of the better mid-priced( $150-$200) reels for this application and lighter lures as far as ease of adjustment and not too finicky,palm-ability and light on the backlashes :)

All I use is Daiwa Tatula SV 8:1. Very minimal backlashes.

I'm running mostly Daiwa Tatula SV's next season. The 7.3 ratio would be my choice.

The Tatula SV is the easiest to set up in this price range with the least line management issues.
    Great reels!

I didn’t know it until Mark posted it, but the Dawia has a built in flipping switch by pressing up on the thumb bar. Pretty neat feature.

All I use are Lew’s and have no trouble flipping and pitching any bait that I want to throw.

I would say Lews super duty 8.1 that is what I've been using no problems for me.

Lews Super Duty and Daiwa Tatula SV are both great reels. Honestly, you dont need to spend the money on either one for a flipping reel. I would opt for the no frills Daiwa Fuego CT muself. Why spend a ton of money on a flipping reel? The Fuego CT has everything you need, as its internally the same reel as the Tatula. Get the 7 or 8 speed and save the money for some braid and weights. Thats just my opinion.

I agree , for flipping as long as it has the speed and some decent power you should be good to go.

I'll throw in another vote for the Tatula. In all the reels I've ever used this is the least problematic for casting or flipping. And I used the old standby curados for years so this was a hard switch for me. But I'm glad I did.

Another vote for the Tatula's/Fuego CT. Pick one, they're all good.

I’m a big curado 71 fan. Way smaller frame than a ct frame. They’re an awesome pitching reel but also all around stuff too.
