1995 150 XRi EFI Not Charging

1995 150 XRi EFI Serial # 0G259195

While running about 4000 rpms and volts showing over 13 I saw the tach drop to zero.

I looked at the volts and it had dropped to just under 12.

Stator changed n July

From what I have read it could be the regulators.

Any help would be appreciated.

Be sure to use the Mercury parts. Aftermarket regulators can be a problem. Also inspect connectors for damage and replace them if in doubt.

I just ordered the Mercury regulators from European Marine and Rhonda suggested getting some spare bullet connectors so I ordered them also.

I installed the Mercury regulators and the tach is working and it’s charging great.
