    Idea on repair cost, swivel tube bearings.

    2005 mercury pro XS serial #1B119184

    I might have the proper name wrong, but it’s the main shaft that the motor turns on. About how many hour job is that to replace? I was thinking about just biting the bullet on a new motor, but not with a 7 month wait, I’ll just repair this thing.

    I’m just curious on an estimated cost. Thank you.

    Really need to know the condition of many related components, as parts can stack up quickly if you end up replacing "hard" (metal) parts.
