    which ball head?

If you can only have one ball head for wildlife photography which one would you buy? I have a 200-500 nikon coming this week. Want to get a good ball head for it. I have a gitzo explorer tripod that I'll be using in the field and on my bass boat. I'm considering the wimberley gimbal head WH-200 or the RRS BH-55. Any others to consider?
    Thanks!

I would not purchase a Ball Head for wildlife photography. Purchase a Gimbal head especially for Birds in Flight. I have a RRS PG-02 that I use for Pano's and BIF. Curt

I have the Gitzo 5L series Tripod topped with the Wimberley WH 200. When I'm using the Nikon 200-500, I'm at 500mm 99% of the time... The reason for that last sentence is because of the zoom.... When you set up the WH 200 the balance changes drasticly from 200mm to 500mm. even if you split the difference, zooming will unbalance the rig. A Ballhead is not an option while using long lens.
