Foremost/Farmers. I told my agent the boat I was looking for would run 100 mph and he checked with underwriting, the answer was OK to insure. I've had a couple of claims with no questions. I've been with farmers since I started driving 56 years ago.

Mutual of Enumclaw. Typically they dont insure boats that go faster than 55 mph but since I had zero claims with my 95 Champion 186 over 15 yrs of ownership, they gave me a waiver. And I was totally up front with what my boat was capable of running.

I have State Farm never had a problem and they even covered my lower unit years ago when I hit something and bent the prop shaft. When I changed from a 200 to a 260 to a 200 then to a 225. All I did was call them and give them the serial number from the motor and they added it to my policy.

I did that too and then got a cancellation notice shortly thereafter. HP more than manufacturers recommended. Wasn’t happy and worldwide couldn’t do anything for me. Ended up going with State Farm and have had no issues.

The best deal until you have a claim, they have to pay Flo some how.
