I've had mine since they were first released. Today, after putting the boat on the trailer and shutting everything down. I noticed there was an electrical hum coming from housing that holds the steering mechanism, after I had turned the motor off. I then went to to the bilge and cut off the relay or switch for the trolling motor. I could still hear the hum. First thing that came to my mind was, if this thing doesn't quit, it could be a fire hazard. Eventually it did, but now I'm a little concerned. Anyone else experience this?

Transducer maybe? Was the 360 and MFD still on?

It may well have been the 360, didn't think of that. But I did put my ear right up against the housing and that's where it sounded like it was coming from, come to think about it, the 360 is mounted there. That's probably what it was. Thanks. What is the MFD?

MFD - multifunction display. Just another way of referring to you depth finder.

I have a had a similar problem, found out I had left my bilge pump on. A transducer usually makes a "clicking" noise.

The clicking sound is true, but the 360's transducer spins. I would have immediately recognized the clicking.
