What's a regen?? Never heard of her on my 12 duramax... maybe because the dpf and egr lasted less than 100 miles

I bought a 2011 Duramax and it would show "keep driving regen in progress" or something of the sort. Well, I'm not going to drive around waitng for a regen to complete when I need to be at work. Eventually it put me into limp mode. Long story short, after 50+ days in the shop I had them re-purchase the truck and I went back to gas. All I pull is my boat so I don't necessarily need the diesel. It is sad what the they've had to do to otherwise great trucks.
