    are updates worth it if graphs are working great?

    Title says it all. I know phone updates have proved to be terrible at times so I'm hessitant to do the same with my birds if they are working fine.

    Depends on what an update fixes or adds to the unit.
    In some cases you have to update a unit so it will communicate with another unit or accessory.

    No, the basemap file was released July 7 2017. Software version 1.460 or later was needed to install the Basemap.
