The 16+ Zx200s will run 70 with a decent load

It really depends on how much room you want forward of the seat pedestal on the front deck, ZX200 is tight and the trolling motor pedal is very close to the pedestal, ZX225 actually has the pedestal moved rearward of the rod locker doors which opens up more room up front. I ended up regretting buying a 2016 ZX200 because of the tight space forward of the seat. I recommend the ZX225 for sure, more front deck space, better speed AND stability.

I have a 2016 ZX225 and love it! Its very stable and runs with two men and a full load at right about 70- 72 mph with no effort in how to drive it...it drives itself!... and it handles like a sports car too with no effort....60 mph direct u turns with one hand on the wheel...awesome boat!

i wouldn't guarantee 70 out of a zx200. Especially if is has 2 poles and 4 batteries. Then put in a partner you probably looking a 66-68 max and that is in good weather. Can it do 70? yes, some do. Do most? No. I was able to do 70, however that was at the time with no poles, no water in live wells, and no partner. After poles, partner, livewells, tackle i ended up around 64mph.

my ZX200 was a 65-66 MPH boat tourney loaded, 50 gallons, livewells with (No Poles). 68-69 with just me and my gear.

My ZX225 runs 70+ tournament loaded, and 75+ solo. I'm not sure what the ZX200 runs.
