    Nice limit

Caught this nice Shelbyville limit yesterday. Water temp was 64, air temp was 36. Caught all fishing a 1/16th oz. chartreuse jig and black/chartreuse mid south tube under a cork 6 feet deep on standing timber with water 12-18 foot..Biggest was just short of 14 inches and smallest was a little over 11. Tasty.

Heck yeah. Do you ever fish Lake Vermillion? Not sure how far away from it you are.

It is over an hour from me and I have never fished it. I have had a camper on a permanent spot at lake shelbyville for the last 25 years and spend a lot of time there.

    Local 16,
Did u ever see Steve Welch crappie seminars?
    Or his dvd?
I believe he has moved his guide service to Kentucky lake.
He seemed to do real on Shelbyville.

I have known steve for a very long time. He got his fishing privileges revoked for the entire US for the next 6 years. He did indeed do well at Shelbyville and I give him kudos for that and his knowledge of electronics but a man also needs some common sense ..

It wasn't the first time he got busted or lost his privileges. This latest episode, he got a plea deal that saved him some. The crappie fishing at Shelbyville is very good right now.
