Hey guys,
Headed to Dale Hollow this weekend with some buddies. Any tips are greatly appreciated. We are staying at Cedar Hill. I’ve never fished it this time of year and haven’t been at all in over 10 years! Thanks in advance for any advice.

Burn spinnerbaits over top main lake grass flats for largemouth
At first light they can be shallow on points. Top water and spinner baits. After that drag a jig abound
Gun Control..... Is hitting your target every time
Thanks for the responses so far.
Been cold for a week now- any idea on water temp? 60 or less best for me.
Haven't been to Dale in a few years. We used to drag live shiners on points in the late fall and had a ball.
I was there this past weekend water was in the mid 70s. Couldn’t tell you what to throw because I couldn’t find anything that would work.
I was there a couple weeks ago fished around a mile up the river past Sunset Marina and Resort. We caught several largemouth main channel shallow pockets on a medium diver SPRO and a black buzzbait during the day up into the late afternoon. Went out after dark around Sunset Marina caught them on nighttime spinnerbait and jig on points and flats.
It is still in the upper to mid 70's depending on what part of the lake. We are going to have a few cool nights here in a row maybe will drop it another degree or two. But just last weekend it was in the 90's air temp. So we are way behind for the fall bite.

water temp was about 70 Saturday, mid lake. Fished until noon, only had 5 bites, caught 3 smallies all 3 over 20" but not over 21".
We ended up catching a few. Heading back later in the year for some colder water!
