What model and year is the Evinrude? Either your prop is screwed up or your Tach is off. In a tnx today me and another guy with gear etc ran 68.3 at around 5800 rpm using a stock 25 Trophy. I'm curious what Lower unit you have on that rig because you should be going faster than that. If your numbers are accurate and you have a 1.86 gear ratio LU then you have 22% prop slip. Thats way to much slip, I bet your prop needs reconditioned. My boat has the same hull as yours and they like the good lift that a Trophy gives. In the cooler months I run a 26 Trophy and I'll be putting it on very soon. Motors make more power in the cooler weather and the water is dense so better bite thus more speed because motor makes more power with cooler dense air.

I’ve got another 26 I had worked by Mark Croxton and it runs the same speed. I’ve got a 04 Evinrude 200.
Take a picture of the LU and post if you can. So the motor is not an HO? I tried Rakers on mine and I didn't like them. My boat likes Tempest and the Trophy even more for best all around performance. I hope we can help you get it figured out.

I’ve got 2 200s actually one is a HO with the lightning and one is not with the magnum. The non HO is on now with the magnum since my HO has low compression.
