    Snakehead Fish Tacos

    Part 2 of a multipart series on all the great ways to prepare the Northern Snakehead for some great eating.
    In the 1st video I showed how I like to deep fry my Northern Snakehead, and in this video I show how I like to make some blackened fish tacos using Northern Snakehead as the main ingredient along with a creamy crunchy cabbage mix & pico de gallo for a really tasty and fresh fish taco.

    I am hoping this video series helps bring awareness to a fish that has a bad rap and is greatly misunderstood. It is often just killed and discarded without awareness that the Northern Snakehead offers up as excellent table fare. Hope you enjoy and feel free to comment or ask any questions.

    I kinda relate them to the Asia Carp in KY lake. Are there any commercial fisheries trying to catch them for food?

    Yes they are starting to now...new law in VA this year that lets restaurants start selling Snakehead.
