    Lk St John

    Anyone know if its still 10.00 bucks for a boat launch at the Ducks Nest?

    Man...it has been a looong time since I have launched a boat at a pay ramp apparently! That sounds like highway robbery to me. Is that the norm these days?

    I was at a camp up there fri. and sat. on St John. It was definately 10 bucks to launch at the ducks nest. It was posted on a sign by the ramp. Nobody there friday but a lot had launched there on sat. We went to concordia and fished there. Put in at the lakeview lodge that was 5 bucks to launch. Hope they dont go up.

    I haven't been to St. John in a few yrs for that reason , $10.00 per launch is stupid ! I go and stay on Concordia at least a few weekends every year and we use to fish both lakes . Well , not anymore , that dude can keep his launch for that kind of money .

    Barry I havent fished St John that much so I cant say. We mostly fish Concordia and we have had some good trips there. Both lakes were low this past weekend. To me looked about 2ft below normal. As far as St John the fishing to me aint worth a 10 dollar boat launch.

    $10 a day to launch a boat that's robbing a man.I lived in Ks. And Co all big lakes you can buy a annual permit to use the ramps.All have good ramps,docks,marinas,fish cleaning stations and boat slip rentals.
    i was born and raised in La. They are really lacking and behind times in lake amenities.
