    Cracks in engine cover

    # 2B121485
    Are these cracks a known problem that Mercury may take care of when warrant is expired. I have seen a few post where others have cracks in the same location as mine on both sides of the cowling. I have seen a handful of them at tournaments cracked in the same manner. They seem to be in about the 2015 year model range

    That's not something I've seen, other than one where the cowling hit an overhead door frame while the customer was tilting up the engine.
