    Battery group size power

Does a fully charged group 29 battery produce more power than a fully charged group 27 battery. Will a group 29 pull the boat at a faster speed, or just have a longer run time. This is assuming both being new and fully charged, and running at the same setting.

Usually, but how much more varies quite a bit.

Battery group is physical dimensions. Bigger usually means more power, but some 27s have as much as 180 minute RC and some 31s are as small as 185 minutes. 29 and 31 are so close in size as to be all but the same.

If you're talking about power by meaning will it make the trolling motor run faster, no, it will not produce any more "power" in that sense, just give a longer run time based on the RC comparison of the battery. The trolling motor draws the amps it needs to run a the speed selected. The battery doesn't "push" the amps.
