    Insurance Companies

    Just an FYI
If your looking for boat insurance, take the time and ask your local
boat mechanic which companies tend to deny more claims.
I had progressive and never filed a claim in my life, 20 yrs of boating.
I wish I had done my homework before using them.

Guys, It is not the company as a rule. You need to make sure you have the correct coverage's. Most of the claim issues are because of the wrong coverage's. Do not go to someone who does home Insurance for watercraft. I have been able to educate a lot of the members here to better understand marine Insurance. Feel free to call me if I can help in any way. Thank you Bob Luellen 517-627-8080

I have Seaworthy insurance which is owned by GEICO. I've had very good experience with their claims and no complaints. They paid for my transom replacement after I already paid out of pocket thinking they would not cover it. Saved me 5K.
