    Ok fellas..UPDATE..UPDATE..Initial Thoughts:

I picked my 195 up from the dealer yesterday. My initial thoughts are: the colors popped, came out much better than I imagined. I love the layout of the boat, especially the front center storage..it hold a lot of tackle. Love the open and easy access to the battery compartment, it is huge and from first glance you can see pump connections that are easy to access.
There were only a few things I noticed last night when I got home and was looking her over after I placed her in the garage..(Oh yea..measurements on the website are little off..little longer than stated). I noticed a rough area in the gel on the top cap near the stern light. Feels like sandpaper was rubbed in a circular motion. I do not like the rod locker "holders", I am thinking i may take these out.. Not good for holding multiple rods. Rear storage is little shallower than I was hoping, looked deeper in pics.. Still holds good amount of items, but not as deep as the other storage areas.

Will post more pics an update after I get her on the water and see how she rides..

What kind of prop do you have on it? Please give us some numbers when you run it.

Sports1, I will be glad to post some numbers after I break her in, hopefully this weekend. Now, it came with a 24pitch Scorpion, 3 blade. Not too familiar with this prop. Ran a Stiletto on the Triton I had, it ran good, and I kept it on entire time I had the boat of 17 years. Anyone familiar with Scorpion props?

    Fuelleak,

haha, thanks. Yea, I was lucky enough to have contacted the dealer in time, as he was about to put an order in for 2 Falcons, and I was fortunate enough to be able to order the boat like I wanted. I like you, love the color combo. I believe the reddish tint on top cap is because I ordered the firefox red flake in the white..

    Thanks again.

Ok fellas. Had a chance to begin the break in period. Got lil over 2 1/2 hours on engine. Was able to get on plain and go WOT for few mins at a time.

So specs are: 3/4 tank of gas, 3/4 live wells full, all my tourny tackle , Scorpion 24 pitch prop and manual jack plate (8inch). Pretty strong winds today, good chop on water, white caps in some parts of river.

Assessment: 195 with 200hp SHO. Boat handles chop and rough water very well. After the 1st 2 hours I was able to go WOT for no more than 5 mins at a time. The boat wants to run, she settles in on pad and you can actually feel her wanting to go. So top speed today was 67mph (GPS). I know I can get few more, but that was on short runs less than 2 mins at a time. Although the boat on take off stand up higher than I am use to (former Triton) it comes out of the hole fairly quickly. Similiar to some friends Bullets they run, stands up then lays down and she is gone. In pretty strong head wind, she handles pretty well, hardly any chime walk, very little to say the least.. I felt very comfortable driving her today. Boat handles well, turns on a dime.. It does llove to ride bow high, but you can trim her down a little and it feels like it kicks into another gear.

So, overall I am pleases with the handling, the ride so far. Will see how she does in first tourny in few weeks.

No it is 3 blade, it is what the dealer had on it when I picked it up. I plan to run it for a while, then decide to either keep running or move it to a spare.
