    Plastic shipping rod sleeves

    Guys

    Does anyone know where I can find the plastic rod shipping sleeve that they use when they ship of rod to your house

    Rods I've ordered came in cardboard tubes, and the longer ones in PVC pipe. You might try the PVC route.

    Uline sells it in rolls. You can only get rolls that are like several hundred feet. Think it's like $30 or so. I looked at it once for shipping rods I built. I just look for when the sponsors on here closeout crappy color rod sleeves and buy a bunch (pink, puke yellow) and then just ship in that. I think the last time I got purple for like $3 each. If you don't mind waiting for them you can get sleeves on Ebay from China for less than $2.

    If you're only going to ship a few just go with the sleeves.

    How many do you need? I think I have some stashed away when me and my partner got a few new rods a few years back.
    I'll check and send them to you for the shipping cost which can't be much.
