    Measuring new control cable

    Ok so I’m replacing my broke control cable. I removed it and it measures 14ft 2inches. Looking online they suggest rounding the length up to the next even foot when buying a new cable. My question is do I really need to order a 15ft cable when mine is only 14’ 2”?? Thanks

    There should be two numbers on the cable the last two is the length of the cable.

    I’ve looked and I can’t see any numbers. Will the numbers be stamped or printed on the cable? Thanks

    Should be stamped on the casing.
