    Ultrex Upgrade we do in Australia for salt water FYI



    Without this upgrade, Ultrex lasts about 6 months in the salt - no matter how carefully you maintain it. Though y'all would be interested.

    Great R&D for MinnKota to follow.
    The addition of the bottom seal would help overall.
    I can see the need for a plug to drain fill and flush out the steering box assembly.

    How is the groove in the shaft dealt with to keep water from getting in the housing?
