    Helix update

    Afternoon all!
    helix 10 mega si g2n
    as360tm
    no other externals
    So I finally got the screen /360 thing figured out. Thanks Wayne
    Im having the same bugs as everyone else ,but the problem I’m not hearing anything about
    is the fact that only 1/2 the sensitivity scale does anything to the screen on the 360 view !?!?
    Only the upper 1/2 of the scale works . I’ve tried it with imaging switchfire and without to no avail.
    tried resetting defaults and redownloading. You name it I’ve done it:-(
    What I’m losing is my sweet spot where I need to be. I’ve emailed cs but heard nothing yet. I’m patiently waiting :-)
    My question is .... is it just me?!??

    Have you tried adjusting the Sensitivity when using Simulator so see what the range is?

    No . I ran with it once you helped me with my last carbon interface issue. Lol
    My experiences are on the water findings.

    Ok, I'm curious how Switchfire modes effect 360 sensitivity? I thought 360 adjustments were through its own settings popups. Have I been missing out?

    I have a Helix 12 DI G2N and 360 only setup and will try your scenario tomorrow.

    It is adjusted through sensitivity ,switchfire imaging max gives you all the sonar data.
    i can run switchfire imaging max now with the latest update but with it on or off I can’t turn it down enough to be able to use it because the lake I fish has an extremely hard bottom .
    What I take away from this latest update is they figured out how to tone down the power of the unit And give us more control. It will be nice once they figure this out because as of right now this latest update I really can’t use

    I was out again this morning and now see what you are talking about. The 360 sensitivity only changes from 10 thru 20. 10 or lower has no effect that I can see on screen. This was with and without Switchfire active.

    And for me my 360 only view still doesn't show until the depth is more than 25 feet and that's with booting the Helix up 5 minutes or more after 360. Combo 360/map were visible immediately.

    I contacted hb cs and was told there is!something wrong with my 360 or my helix . I emailed them back and explained to them that with the last update everything works fine but not with this update . Answer? We have had no other complaints So........someone else needs to call and complain and maybe they will get off their azz.

    For now I went back to 1.64 as the double bottoms are less of an issue for me. I would rather have a "hot" unit over the dumbing down of sensitivity in shallow depths that is present now. Hopefully this will get fixed one day. Plus I don't want to go deep to get my 360 forward view.

    They have Definitely tamed the power with the latest update but they’re not done. I was starting to like what I was seeing but until they get it straight I’ll just run with what I’ve got.
