Educate me on steel plates w/ a reflex sight

So I am wanting to venture into trying steel plate shooting with a pistol. My question is, at what distance do you zero your reflex sight for? I am going to start with a Canik TP9SFX with the Vortex viper on it. I am completely green so any and all comments welcome. Thanks in advance for your input.

15-25 yds based on where your shooting. My club for example is only 25 yds for the pistol range. Most steel is set at 15-20 max

Find out what the ranges are at the locations /events you are going to.
Zero at the midpoint of those ranges.
Some steel plate events the plate has to go down,others just need to see a trace of a bullet strike.
15 yrds. should cover anything.
