Chop Island has been for sale for a long time. MCB Quantico offered to buy it years ago and was turned down. Quite a lot of history associated with that tiny bit of land.
Maybe the'll eliminate the off limits area if someone buys it!

Fox 5 did a piece on this last night and went to the island with two real estate guys to show everything. Must have been great in its day with an in ground pool, main house and a guest house, or for staff. They said the owner paid $375,000 for it and when the reporter asked why the 15 million now, the real estate agent said because of its historical significance. There is a power cable to the island, but no one mentioned a water source. The place looked like a jungle.
Am visiting realtor tomorrow about this property. This of course assumes all my Mega Millions come up......
