Been hunting with a Parker Hurricane for tha past few years but decided to try a Excalibur Micro 355 this year. Had this deer on camera for 3 years and he's always been an 8pt , just gotten a little better each year. This year he'd gotten big enough to get a spot on the hit list . Was 210lbs on a brand new set of scales , which is a slob for a NC buck. Was 20" wide on the outside with decent mass and tine length. Not the biggest one I've been blessed to kill here but I'm not complaining! I'd be tickled to see another one his size any day around here. Was 28 yards and after a complete pass thru with a 3 blade Rage chisel tip, he made it about about 60-70yds.
