    Sportsman 1610 questions

I'm in the market for a boat and stumbled upon a CL add that had the 1610 for around $12,299. I'm not familiar with this model appears to be new. So I googled it and saw some other prices around $23k this is a huge difference in price obviously. Neither gave specs as far as motor, electronics, add one ECT. Can anyone give me a base price on this model? Speeds with a 50 or 60 on the back? With the pricing is there a 'no haggle' like with Tracker or is there wiggle room in the pricing? Thanks for the help!

Its my understanding when the 1610 came out initially it didnt have a built in fuel tank, just a 6 gallon portable one. The 2019 model does have a built in fuel tank. And I do know there is some wiggle room. Talk to your local dealer about the discounts being offered right now.

    Jeremy,
That is probably the base price for that boat with a 25 hp motor. I priced out a 2018 Sportsman 16 with a 60 for $16.5K. $23K sounds like a Sportsman 17 price unless it is the full MSRP of a 1610 with a 70 hp.

Thanks Big Al! I ended up buying a used G3 Eagle 175. It's a 2006 with a 50hp Yamaha Helix 5 DI at the bow which I'm replacing, and a Helix 7 SI G2N at the helm. Unfortunately it's now winter here in Michigan so she's hibernating for 5 months. I didn't get to take it out. I did hook the muffs up and ran the Yamaha for just a bit.

Nice, I had a 2009 Eagle 170 that I sold last year and regret it.
