Fishing for Freedom 10th Annual Event @ Truman Lake

i was honored and humbled this weekend to help with the 10th Annual Fishing for Freedom event at Truman Lake Missouri

I got to spend the weekend in the company of 150 veterans and 150 volunteer boat captains to take the veterans fishing for a day.
it was a great event, over half the field weighed in fish. and the food that was provided was delicious.

my personal highlight was meeting and talking with Donald "Doc" Ballard and Vietnam era Medal of Honor Recipient.

Doc was one of the best speakers I have ever seen I will have to say that. we had a great time and cant wait to go next year
