    Beef Ribs?

    Wanting to try cooking some for the 1st time. What rub do you suggest on how do you cook them? Is it different than doing pork ribs?

    I only use salt and pepper on beef short ribs. Cook them slow and low until the thickest meat is 203 degrees, then wrap in foil and put them in a cooler for an hour. The meat will pull back quite a bit on the bones.

    That's exactly the way I do them... I ony use oak in the smoker also
