Don’t go see Chris’s Angel. I was there last weekend and the wife got tickets. I’m usually pretty negative about that stuff so I kept my mouth shut. Until she commented on how crappy the show was. It was like some geeky 14 year old kid doing magic in the basement. With hot chicks in bikinis. Best time I had was at the Barrett Jackson auction but unfortunately that’s only once a year.

Fremont St. is just a big party...not "scuzzy" until you venture too far away from the action. Lot's of bands, etc. We're leaving Sunday and staying downtown. Way cheaper.

Last time I was there I rented a car and went to Hoover dam and red rock canyon. I would definitely go back and do some more exploring at red rock but not sure if I would bother with Hoover dam again. I plan to rent a vehicle again if I go and just tour around. Lake Mead area was definitely a nice drive also so might do that again. Another poster mentioned taking the Kounts Kustoms tour and that has peaked my interest also. Guess it’s time to do some more google searches and make a decision on this soon.

We have gone 3 times in the last 9 or 10 years. Each time we go it gets a little worse. The streets are filthy and the pimps yelling at the top of there lungs selling sex to all who walk by, even to children...not cool.
Then, we walked out of our hotel (Cesars) at 7:30 a/m to get picked up on the shuttle to go on our helicopter ride over the Grand Canyon when glass bottles from passing cars started flying all over the place...not cool. Cesars was filthy, old and dingy. and the service was terrible. Then there was the time we were right in front of New York New York and a HUGE rat darn near ran right across my shoes....not cool.

Oh yeah, then there was the time we were eating breakfast at the Bellagio about 6 a/m and some woman was walking across the casino puking as she kept walking from the restaurant to the elevators, really classy.

If you are planning on doing a tour of Hoover dam. They are currently remodeling the visitor center. It's only power plant tours and they all start on top of the dam. You can enjoy seeing the dam without going on a tour.

We haven’t been to Vegas in about 5 years, but the last time we went was in January. Be prepared for a lot of temperature variation. In 4 days time we had highs in the mid 40’s and high’s in the mid 70’s. We were told that large variations in temperature wasn’t that unusual out there in the winter. Crowds weren’t terrible that time of year, so that was a good thing.

Las Vegas isn't even a good airport ... but it will get you pretty close to Zion National Park.
Go hiking, boating, skiing, sightseeing, hunting, etc. Don't play the tables/slots, bad math.

Was there for 8 days back in March. Saw NONE of what you described. Not even close. Not saying that crap doesn't go on, but I was amazed at how tame it was compared to all the BS strewn my way before I left.
LET'S GO BLUES!!! WILL WE MAKE THE PLAYOFFS IN 2024?
