Keep in mind any black with a flake in it as a clear coat like other flakes. Solid red, white, black gelcoat has no clear coat. Those are the ones that fade. Your black flake colors have as much clear coat as a silver flake.

The clear gel over flake will also fade....

My Intracoastal has a black hull, silver water stripe and blue and black Camanche stripes. The consoles are black, but the interior of the boat and top cap is white. Nice and cool in the summer time. No carpet either. Light gray foam, which is easy on the feet and simple to clean.
