For those of you interested, I put together a video with underwater footage of the Pre Rapala Wiggle Wart compared to the new Wiggle Wart and some of my other favorites. Which is your favorite??

What's up man! Great video, love the underwater view of the different cranks.

Love all your videos, just wish there wasn't cussing. Used to watch them all with my kids but anymore there's too much language.

    Keep them coming!

I recently had a bass buddy pass away. He was a tackle pack rat when he was alive. Being friends with his wife, she ask me to help get rid of all his fishing tackle. He had enough fishing stuff to fill aU Haul box truck. She finally decided to let an auctioneer take charge of getting rid of all his tackle even though she knew that she would probably get pennies on the dollar. One of the items she found was an old display board of original pre Rapala wiggle warts. This board was used at tackle shows by Storm tackle reps. She wanted me to have it to hang in my garage because she knew that I have a lot of fishing stuff decorating my garage. I received a total of 87 pre Rapala wiggle warts in every color imaginable. I very carefully removed them and built a shadow box holding a total of 80. I kept the other 7 separate. If I can figure out how to post a pic I’ll show you all my project. Right now BBC says my pic file is to big.

The problem with the pre-rap ww’s Was they didn’t all have that great hunting action out of the box. Some you couldnt get to run right at all. Not that big of a deal when they were only $3 a piece but nowadays, even used ones are going for ridiculous prices and there’s no guarantee whether it will run worth a hoot or not.

The old ones say Wiggle Wart under the bill . The early suspenders will have it marked on belly. New Wart will say Storm under the bill.

Damn, I have one. I saw this video I went and grabbed it made one cast in my pond and it got hung up and broke off. Had I read this first I would have never thrown it in my pond. I threw it in the pool a few times and it hunted pretty good. Guess I am going swimming in the pond tomorrow.

K-dawg - Go to the main forum page, scroll down to fishing forums, then to rod building and tackle making. Several on here paint lures, some quite well.

That looks great. I would have a hard time not using or selling them.
