    Golfing near Atlanta?

Hey guys, me and a buddy have tickets to Games 3 & 4 of the Braves NLDS vs. the Dodgers.

We're headed down early Sunday morning and if we get there in time we're looking to get a quick round of golf in.

We're not scratch golfers by any means, but usually shoot mid 80s and like to have a good time.

I've been trying to find some public courses around the NW/Marietta part of Atlanta. I checked out Dogwood Golf Club and City Club Marietta online, and they seem to have reasonable rates and look like decent courses.

Yall got any reviews on those 2 places or have suggestions for anywhere else?

    Thanks.

Never played at either of those places. I live about 30 mins north. I play Barnsley gardens more than I play anywhere else but it is one of the nicest courses in north Georgia

Barnsley Gardens FYI is west of I-75, an exit south of Calhoun and north of Cartersville. It's a pretty good haul out there.
