Unhappy Project Boat ? / Whats it worth

Any idea where to post a project boat for sale? My boat is in great condition but one of the transom bolts became unsealed and some water came into the transom making a soft spot around that bolt about 4" in diameter. It sucks because my boats in such good shape for the yea (1996 Pantera Classic). I am not sure what to do with it and don't possess the skills to rebuild the transom when it will need it in a year or two.

I would take it to a fiberglass shop. sure it might cost some money to have fixed but it is a nice looking boat.
something else you could also think about is when at the glass shop have them call Bass Cat. they can probably buy the fiberglass transom that bass Cat uses now to put in yours then you wouldn't have to worry about it for a very long time.

I had an 89 done and the top cap from about the middle of the livewells back has to be cut off. its a big job but it can be done.

With the overall apparent condition of your rig, if you have the coin, fix it. Like BCB said, the casting resins can do a good job if done right. And it needs repaired now, not in a year or 2, jmo.

That is definitely NOT a project boat. Take a look at getting an estimate. It will be worth it.

What’s the boat sitting next to it? Also as clean and nice this rig is, spend the money and have it fixed.

I'm sure I've seen you on Fox. As others have said, your boat is way too nice to be considered a project boat....I'd get it fixed. If u need the name of a good glass guy, Al's pro fiberglass in Whitewater is very good. Good luck

buddy of mine has his transom replaced on a old Bullet, think he got it done for under $1,500 if I remember correctly. Certainly worth getting it checked out by a couple of places...........really nice boat you have!!!!

Not allowed to share ads on here unless the boat is listed for sale on BBC for sale page...boat is also sold pending payment at the time to someone who will be replacing the transom.
