    618 Prop suggestions

    I have a 2018 618 with a Evinrude G2 150 H.O. and am running a Raker H.O. 24". The top end is 62 to 64 mph. However, it's a little slow coming out of the hole. I would rather have a better hole shot and sacrifice top end. Any suggestions? Would going to an 22" RX4 be a better choice?

    Have you opened the vents? I have the same boat and that has been my best prop. Tried a 22 HO Raker and Tempest 24 & 25 and a Fury and 24 HO Raker worked best for me.

    No, opening the vents is the next thing to try before I get a different prop. Did you have to open them on yours?
