    Transom Saver for Suzuki 250ss

Any advice on a transom saver for my new motor? In the past used the MotoStop for my Mercury. I preferred the wedge style that just goes between your trimmed motor and the transom vs the long shaft to the trailer. Appreciate any recommendations or advice.

I believe you can get a MotoStop for the Suzuki, but you have to use the one designed for a Yamaha 4 stroke. I currently use 1 TH Marine Motor Stick on the STBD side. If you use a Motor Stick on the port side of the motor, you'll break a grease fitting.

Good point. I broke the grease fitting on mine when I used the MyWedge on the port side. Definitely use it on the starboard side only!!

Thanks guys. Can you clarify the point of using it on the starboard side only? Do you only run one support? That sounds risky.

It's fine to travel with one support. On the port side, if you look above the push pins, there's a grease fitting up there and if you put a support up there, it will rub against the grease fitting and break it off.
