Hey guys! Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations on a boat carpet installer. I have a 99 Champion 203 and just looking for someone good and reliable. I’m located south of St Louis but I frequent LOZ.
Thanks...Jamie

There is a guy down at Lebanon, Mo who did my dads 202 Champion turned out nice. Lebanon Auto Upholstery. There is also Penrod's in Patterson Mo. down by Clearwater. He did mine in my 187 Champion.

DeGraaf If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price range are we looking at ? I've got a 06 Camp 188 elite i will probably get the carpet replaced next spring. Thanx
Most pro carpet jobs are $1000 to $1200 parts and labor. It’s a lot of labor.
To get a quote just call Tom. Don’t know what he’s charging me. I’m replacing all deck lids from Ranger and they are pre-carpeted.

You can do it yourself , just takes time, put pad under carpet on front deck, you will be glad you did
I did my 18' Ranger 6yrs ago. Lots of work, especially the first time. Removing old carpet is more work than gluing down new. Many threads on resto. boards here.
If you have the time, garage space and patience it's rewarding.

I did my 181 Elite last winter and it was a job, always on your knees, bending twisting, your right, very rewarding if you do it right, did padding, carpet, hydraulic steering, domed numbers and decals and hard wired trolling motor. I think you are also correct in that the first time is hardest as your not sure of steps to take and procedure
