    lower unite drain plug washer.

    Changing the lower unite oil and there was no washer on the drain screw.Should there be one. Merc 125hp - 2000 year model.

    Just did my 125. Both lower and upper washers stayed on the lower unit. Just picked them off and put on plug before reinstalling. Check to see if on LU.

    Thanks for the help.They were on the motor but came off in pieces.Do I need a special washer.
