    Bladed jigs (chatter bait)

    was messing around with them in the pond the other night and noticed that the coffin style blade worked better than the rounded blade is this something that is just in my mind. they seem not to start as well on the retrieve you have to pop them to get them to start

    Not in your mind. A LOT of design went into that shape. Overall size and the proportions in the length of the edges. There is a video around, on basszone I think, 20ft Deep, that is really interesting about the original design process and the people involved.

    The round ones will get going a little better if you bend them back a little more, but yes, the coffin style definitely starts up easier.

    i watched that very intetresting
