Poes Ridge Ramp conditions?

Ive been out of town so haven’t been able to go by and check conditions. Is Poe’s open yet? We’re supposed to have a tournament there Sunday.

I don't think so. A guy I work with went by there this weekend and said they were still closed. That could have changed but that is what he said this morning.

Think corps said top elevation for Poes is around 227 and others are pretty close to that but no telling when they might reopen if they have to clear debris and such. Falls is good to go as a plan B.

Ha, it is what it is. Nothing you can do about it. Yeah, probabaly going to move it to Falls. I’m traveling at the moment and will post something tomorrow.

When I went by Jordan I saw some of the docks had floated up to and over the ramps themselves. Once the water level of the lake dropped then the Corps will have to go in and lift those tie up docks and replace to their correct positions. I saw that situation at all the ramps on Jordan. Such a mess.

As of this time there are NO estimated dates as to when Jordan boat ramps will be open. All are closed at this date of 10/2/18. No ramps will be open until the water goes down and then checked for damage. This information came from the Parks office. Hope it helps

I drove by Farrington this afternoon and it was still closed. I was going the wrong way to get a good lock at the docks from the road but lake still looked very high.

Jake went by Ledge Rock on his way home from school and said it looked good so we’ll be going there on Sunday.
