    If anybody still participates in here ....... OMG they are both TERRIBLE! Ole Miss has an excuse I guess. State is ... well ... State. Man i could throw up watching all the wasted talent

    I think Ole Miss is as good as they can be considering the probation effect on talent. They just have to tread water until that is gone and real recruiting can happen.

    State, they always win some games they shouldn't, and lose some they shouldn't as well. I was really hoping they would give Mullens something to remember, but they just couldn't get over the hump.

    If either one could beat Alabama I would instantly become a fan. On the bright side, we could be TN fans!

    My son goes to Ole Miss and my best friend’s daughter goes to state. I feel your pain. I root for them but there is not too much to cheer about.

    Southern played Auburn tougher than I thought they would... Unless they step it up, though, I don't look for them to make much noise in C-USA this year... Several teams playing well in the league, right now.

    And yeah, as far as D-1 football in Mississippi, they'll always be the 'red-headed stepchild'.


    But, hey... There's always EMCC if you want to hook your wagon to a winner.
