    Prop for 2017 Mercury 115 Pro XS CT

    I have a 2017 Triton 179 TRX with a 115 Mercury Pro XS with command thrust what is the best prop for this motor for hole shot and top speed . I have a Tempest plus 24 pitch on it now.

    Are you sure you have a tempst plus? They are a fast 3 blade. What rpms and speed are you getting? What is the max rpms for your motor? What motor height are you at?

    Yes I am sure I have a Tempest plus motor max rpms is 6300 getting around 45mph running between 5800 to 6000 rpm I think I am in the second hole for motor height that I am not real sure.

    If you do have the 4 3/4in gearcase, I'd try the 23P Fury3.
