    2019 z20 setup?

    My buddy has a 2019 z20 with the new 250 proxs 4s.

It gets a little loose at around 68mph.

I think he could come up a little on the plate.

    Current specs.
    25p fury 3
    P2P is about 3.75
RPM is about 5800 at 70
I believe it is a 12inch slide master manual adjust.
    H2o pressure was good.
I am thinking taking he could go to 3.25. But being a fury i know they like to run lower.

I with i could throw a temp+ or Bravo on there. But he is not going to buy a prop.

He one of those guys that does not care really about setup.

By the way...those z20s are are very nice boats. One of the smoothest rides i have been in. The only water that got on me in less than ideal conditions was water from the trolling motor prop when leaving a spot. And the merc 4s is just WOW!

I would just hammer down, trim it a little less and if it gets squirrly slow down( after failed corrections) trim down a little more and give it the gusto repeat repeat eventually it will be controllable

    Not necessarily true.

On my boat raising the engine made a huge difference. In both top end and chine walk didn't happen till higher speed.

Put a 23 Fury on it and it will be as designed and tested and you will be much happier. My dealer tried changing props on a new boat and told me 23 is the prop but people have a hard time wrapping their head around why it is.
