    How is the water Clarity on Chickamauga this weekend

    Some areas with incoming creeks (soddy) are plum nasty and look like an orange diarrhea. Find bays and coves without creek inflow and with grass and you'll find much better looking water and probably have better luck. We were on the lower end yesterday and did pretty good.

    Launched from Grasshopper today (Sunday, 30th), went up river on the the Hiwassee side, it's is really stained, but on the way back down, the water is normal color south of the Hwy.60 bridge. As always, the further down you go, the clearer it is. Went as far south as the nuclear towers and water was pretty normal color that far down. Lots of floating stuff though. Water temp still awfully high for almost October. It was mid 70's at Eldridge. Fishing was incredibly tough though.
